Mullen freshman, Jaydon Vigil, was a Silver Medalist in his weight division in the Junior Olympic Trials held in Reno, Nevada this past week. Jaydon was one of only 48 medalist out of 1,200 boxers participating in the trials.
Jaydon , who just turned 15 in December, lost in the championship fight for his weight division against a 16 year old. As a Silver Medalist, Jaydon is an alternate for the USA Olympic boxing team which will compete in the World Junior Boxing Championships in St. Petersburg, Russia in September.
