Please reach out to anyone you know that is in 6th, 7th or 8th grade and hopes to attend Mullen High School. Our goal is to get these kids working together in the early stages to further develop their skills and better prepare them for play at Mullen.
Gold Crown Volleyball - the largest youth volleyball league for 6th – 8th grade girls! Teams from throughout the Denver Metro Area participate, and each grade level offers two divisions to balance out competition: Gold and Silver. Teams are formed based on where the student-athletes will most likely attend high school and play under their respective high school name. There is no limit for the amount of teams from one specific feeder area that can participate in the league, as long as they abide by the 60% School Roster Rules. Each team will play two matches on Sundays in a double-header format, for a 12-game guarantee season (10 regular season matches, and at least two postseason). All matches are played at the 8-court Gold Crown Field House in Lakewood.
Why: Skill-based development with input from the high school coaches, but most importantly, EXERCISE, TEAMWORK and FUN!
Other Info: Fees will be determined based on the number of players and teams. Prior year fees have ranged from $200-250, inclusive of league registration, scrimmage day, practice facilities, coaches and jerseys.
