OFF-SEASON

Pre-Season Activity January-February:

We will not have set team strength training sessions in January and February.  Make sure to still commit to the weight room for strength training 2-3 times per week on your own or as a group.

During the pre-season we will start to build on skills and concepts that will be a part of our offense and defense in the spring.  All of these will be re-taught and explained the week of tryouts.  However it is incredibly advantageous to each player to understand skills, concepts, and drills prior to learning them the week of tryouts.  In addition, we will start to build up our conditioning.  Most importantly, our players will forge deeper relationships with their teammates and commit as a group to improving as a program.

Below are the dates and times for our pre-season team training in January.  All training will be in the Green Room.  By training in the morning, we were able to get consistent time in the Green Room.

  • Wednesday, January 7th - 8:00AM - 9:30AM
  • Thursday, January 8th - 6:00AM - 7:30AM
  • Wednesday, January 14th - 6:00AM - 7:30AM
  • Thursday, January 15th - 6:00AM - 7:30AM
  • Wednesday, January 21st - 6:00AM - 7:30AM
  • Thursday, January 22nd - 6:00AM - 7:30AM
  • Wednesday, January 28th - 7:00AM - 8:30AM
  • Thursday, January 29th - 6:00AM - 7:30AM

Weather permitting, we may try to start training outside immediately after school on Thursdays in February.  As the month approaches we will update the schedule accordingly.
