Please see important information below regarding the Spring Break trip.1. DAILY SCHEDULEThere will be two training sessions per day plus a game or scrimmage in the evening.9:00 - 11:00am: Morning Training11:00 - noon: Catered lunch at the fields under a tentnoon - 2:00pm: Afternoon Training (11:45am-1:00pm Goalie Training)Return to the hotel - Free time (yoga on the beach, rest, relax, enjoy beach and ocean)Dinner at the hotel7:00 - 9:00 pm: Evening game/scrimmageGame/Scrimmage schedule:Monday, 7:00-9:00pm: PracticeTuesday, 7:00-9:00pm: Mullen vs. Woodberry Forest (Virginia)Wednesday, 7:00-9:00pm: Mullen vs. Proctor Academy (New Hampshire)Thursday, 7:00-9:00pm: Mullen Intersquad scrimmageFriday, 9:15-11:15 am: Mullen vs. Hill School (Pennsylvania)This is a different format than previous Mullen Spring Break trips. The emphasis is on becoming a better lacrosse player and a better team. There will be some time to relax and enjoy the beach each afternoon before and after dinner.There will be a dedicated bus for the team the entire week.2. FLIGHTSThe team flights are:DEPART:Monday, March 16thSouthwest #237Denver - Tampa10:15 am - 3:40 pmArrive at the Southwest ticket counter at 8:30 am. We’ll need to get the boarding passes and the bags checked. The ticket counter is on Level 6 of the airport. Patty will be there at 8:15 am. REMEMBER YOUR PHOTO ID!RETURN:Friday, March 20thSouthwest #654Tampa - Denver4:15 pm - 6:20 pm3. COST OF THE TRIPThe total trip cost is $1,315. The vast majority of you already paid the $400 deposit. That means you owe an additional $915. Obviously, if you didn’t pay the deposit, you owe the entire amount.There are two payment options:a. Mail a check (payable to Mullen) to:Patty Nachazel4 Bark CherryLittleton, CO 80127Checks must be received by March 12th.b. Pay by credit card by calling Patty. Her mobile phone number is 720-633-2041. She will complete the required credit card form. She’ll need the card number, expiration date, and your billing address. She will take the forms to Mullen on March 12th and Mullen will run the cards.This trip includes airfare, transportation, food, beach yoga, and lodging. The team hotel is The Postcard Inn (http://postcardinn.com). The hotel is right on the beach.IF YOU ARE NOT TAKING THE TEAM FLIGHTS, CALL PATTY IMMEDIATELY. If you elect to fly (roundtrip) on your own, you will receive a credit of $430. Said differently, if you already paid the deposit and you are flying on your own, your balance due is $915-$430=$485.4. REGISTRATIONEach player needs to register for the trip on the 3d website (www.3dlacrosse.com). Parents will need to create a “parent account” before they can create a “player account.” Once the player account has been created, the player can be registered. The player’s US Lacrosse number will be requested. Simply skip this step if you do not have a US Lacrosse number. It is an optional field.
5. LONG POLESWe will collect long poles (just the shafts) after the final practice before the trip. The poles can be picked up in Tampa when the team arrives. The poles can be damaged by the airlines so they will be transported in PVC sleeves.Please contact Patty with any additional questions.Jim Nachazel
